    Recess printed by Thomas Ham 1852 (Dec 27): 'Queen on Throne' 2 d. purple-brown, two fine used examples, positions 23 (XB) and 36 (LQ), used on cover from Portland to Melbourne cancelled by poor strike of oval "18/V" obliterator in black.
