    Chalon Head Issues 1858: 1 s. vermilion, wmk '12' upright, two examples with large margins all round, used on registered 1864 cover to Secunderabad, India, tied by "52" numeral obliterators with REGISTERED handstamp at left in black, the first adhesive also tied by diamond 'POST OFFICE / LAUNCESTON / Crown' datestamp in red (Sept 23). Reverse with parts of flap and seal missing but with Bombay cds in red and Secunderabad arrival (Oct 24).
