    Adelaide printing from Perkins Bacon Plates 1856/58: 2 d. red, wmk. Large Star, imperforate, a fine used example with ample margins all round, clearly showing the Plate variety with horizontal guide lines running through the 'PO' and 'E' of POSTAGE and 'T' of TWO, lightly cancelled in black leaving the variety (one position only on the sheet) clear. Scarce and fine.
