    1871/75: Cérès 15 c. bistre, thin figures, a horizontal tête-bêche pair, tied by '1818' Gros chiffre to tiny envelope with "HYÈRES 30 MARS 72" cds and framed PD in red alongside, sent to Brighton, reverse with French TPO and Brighton arrival cds's. The pair with irregular perforation and few nicks, the cover weak with some toning away from the stamps, a nice isolated presentation of this tête-bêche which was only possible on covers to Great Britain or abroad during the early GPU period. Signed Calves; cert.
