    1851 (Dec 18): Laureated 1 d. carmine on thick yellowish paper, position 7, the sensational used example, marginal from top of sheet (this indicating exact position easily), full margins all round and large portion of adjoining stamp at right, showing 'No leaves right of SOUTH' plate variety, lightly cancelled in black leaving the plate variety clearly apparent.
