    Ballon Monté No. 39 1870 (Dec 3): 'Le Soir' Journal used to Langrune Sur Mer, Calvados endorsed 'Par Ballon Monté' franked by Siège 1870 20 c. blue, corner perf. blunt, tied by  'Paris / SC' datestamp (Dec 3) struck in red. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "LArmée de Bretagne" with 'Paris a Caen' cds (Dec 8) and Luc Sur Mer arrival cds (Dec 9) on reverse. Rare and attractive entire. Cert.
