    Ballon Monté No. 23 1870 (Nov 2): Entire letter to Margate, Kent, UK endorsed 'Par Ballon Monté' franked by 1863/67 10 c. bistre and 20 c. blue, tied by Paris Stars with 'Paris / Rue D'Enghien' datestamp (Nov 2, 5th levée) alongside in black and framed 'PD' in red. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Le Ferdinand Flocon" with Margate arrival cds (Nov 7) on reverse. A few imperfections but a scarce and attractive entire Maury = € 400+.
