    Ballon Monté No. 23 1870 (Nov 2): Gazette Des Absents No. 4" entire to Coppet, Switzerland endorsed 'Par Ballon Monté' franked by 1863/67 30 c. brown, tied by Paris Star 22 with 'Paris / Rue Taitbout' datestamp (Nov 2, 5th levée) alongside in black and framed 'PD' in red. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Le Ferdinand Flocon" with Geneva arrival cds (Nov 8) on reverse and readdressed from Coppet to Geneva. An attractive entire Maury = € 400+.
