    Ballon Monté No. 6 1870 (Sept 30): Envelope and contents to Wandsworth, London endorsed 'par Aerostat Monté', franked by 1863/67 10 c. bistre and 20 c. blue, tied by Paris Stars with 'Paris / 60' cds (Sept 30, 1st levée) alongside and framed 'PD' in black. Flown from beseiged Paris, probably on the Ballon "L'Armand Barbès" with London arrival cds (Oct 13) on reverse. Scarce Maury = € 375+.
