    Ballon Monté No. 5 1870 (Sept 28): Entire letter to St. Leonards On Sea, Sussex, UK, franked by 1863/67 10 c. bistre and 20 c. blue, tied by Paris Star 35 with 'Paris / Ministère des Finances' datestamp (Sept 28, 2nd levée) alongside in black and framed 'PD' in red. Probably flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Les Non-Denommé No. 1" with but without arrival datestamp. Attractive entire - most unusual for a British Ballon not to have a backstamp Maury = € 450+.
