    1858: 6 d. pale rose-lilac, used example with clear to large margins tied to 1859 mourning envelope to Bedford, UK at single rate by CGH traingular handstamp in black. Reverse with 'Cape Town / Cape of Good Hope' despatch datestamp (Feb 21) in red. Obverse with PAID / DEVONPORT / CAPE PACKET datestamp (July 28) and London cds of the following day in red. Manuscript crayon 5' (pence) credit in red also on front of a fine and attractive cover.
