    1864: 1 d. deep carmine-red, a used example with two large margins and shaved at base, used on 1865 cover endorsed 'Zett zeto' (Express / Cito Cito) at top, mailed to Wellington Stage tied byy CGH triangular obliterator with CAPE TOWN / CAPE COLONY cds adjacent (April 10). Reverse with part flap missing but showing PAARL WELLINGTON arrival of the same day. Opening fault to envelope and file fold away from adhesive but scarce: carried at the newly introduced (February 1, 1864) local rate of 1d.rn
