    1853: 4 d. blue on slightly blued paper, a used example with clear to large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at base, tied to March 1854 cover to Graham's Town by crisp strike of CGH triangular obliterator. Reverse with fine strike of oval PORT-BEAUFORT despatch datestamp (March 9) in black. Cover tear at top well away from adhesive but a fine early usage.
