    "Halifax Airmail" 1921 (Nov 17): 35 c. red, narrrow spacing, variety "No Stop after 1921 / and figure below 'f' of Halifax" (a total of only 556 stamps can exist thus), used on First Flight cover addressed to Halifax tied by 'St. John's Nfld.' machine cancellation (Nov 25). The attempted Flight was delayed and then abandoned on January 28, 1922 and the mail was sent on to Halifax by rail - arriving on February 4, reverse with Halifax return datestamp. Fresh and fine cover. Scott C3j = $ 550 on cover/ Gi = £ 275 off cover.
