    1821/27: Commercial correspondence of seven entire letters from London by packet to Funchal, Madeira, two with PAID cds’s in red on front, all with 2/7 d. rates in manuscript. Sender of the correspondence is at the beginning Thomas Coutts (1735 – 1822), an Anglo-Scottish banker who was the founder of the wealthy banking house of Coutts & Co.
