    1862: 1 d. rose-red, a strip of four used on 1865 cover to Lima (with embossed Official seal on reverse 'Republica Peruana), tied by dotted CARAZ handstamps in blue (Emsing E1 = 25 pts). Poor strike of 'Conduccion / Del Cartero / Gratis' (Free Delivery) on front in black and reverse with Lima arrival cds.
