    1862: 1 d. pale rose-red, a fine strip of three used on 1863 entire letter endorsed 'via Tacna' to Cochabamba, Bolivia neatly tied by 'Lima' datestamps (Sept 11) in black. Charged '3½' (reales) due upon receipt; matched with a further entire from the same correspondence bearing two 1 d. rose-red and charged "2½" reales due on arrival. A most attractive pairing.
