    Registration Labels Surcharged for Postage 1915 (Jan): 'GRI / 3d.' on Käwieng label (#972), Setting A, position 4, an unused example with 'Deutsch Neu-Guinea', variety "G.R.I. Surcharge Double", slightly blunted perforations at right, typical minor wrinkle, without gum. Gibbs records, on page 101 in the handbook, just three unused examples, numbered 971 (Bute), 974 and 975 (Gibbs); this example being the fourth of the five surcharged in error. A very rare stamp. Cert. BPA (1998) Gi = £ 8'000.
