Apart 1914 (Dec 16): 5 d. on 50 pf. black & purple on buff, Setting 11, position 5, an unused example, variety "Surcharge Double, Both Inverted", of good colour and centering, fresh and very fine, large part og. Gibbs records, on page 88, just 2 unused examples, with no example in the Royal collection, this being the 'second' example (not ex Bute). Rare and extremely fine. Cert.
