Third Watermark 1917 (Sept): 2½ d. indigo, Die II, Plate II, a fine used example showing the major variety "Missing "1" in ½", well centred and cancelled lightly leaving the variety clear. The variety was caused by a quickly corrected ink clog. An exceptional rarity of Australian Commonwealth philately and in sublime condition. Just 12 used examples are recorded (three are perforated for Official use), of which one is housed in the collection of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Cert.
