    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1858: 'Queen on Throne' 6 d. blue, wmk. Star, rouletted 5½-6½, a single example used on 1859 registered cover to Locarno, Switzerland with horizontal pair of 1859 1 s. pale blue, perf. 12, the 6 d. folded over top of cover, all tied by "13" numeral obliterators with, on reverse, 'Daylesford / Victoria' despatch datestamp July 12) in black. Thence via Melbourne and London with red transits (Sept 19) and manuscript '2/-' accountancy credit applied in red ink. CHARGÉ in black on front and Paris 'Bureau Centrale' cds in red, Basel transit and Locarno (Sept 23) arrival on reverse.
