    Woodblock Issue 1857 (Aug-Sept): 6 d. orange-yellow, rouletted 7-9 by GPO clerks in Melbourne, a horizontal pair used on 1858 cover to England, separated by scissors horizontally, neatly tied by circular "1" numeral obliterator of Melbourne. Ampthill arrival cds on reverse. The stamps lifted for checking and hinged back in place. A scarce stamp on letter. Cert. RPSL (1942).
