    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1856: 'Queen on Throne' 1 d. yellow-green, wmk. Star, a wonderful horizontal strip of six, margins just grazed to large all round with prtios of four adjoining stamps at top, of excellent colour, used on 1856 cover to Gravesend, England cancelled by circular "1" numeral obliterators of Melbourne in black. Reverse with 'Melbourne' despatch in black (Dec 15) and Gravesend arrival in green (March 10, 1857), front with London cds in red and handstruck '3' split rate accountancy marking in red.
