    Woodblock Issue 1854 (Sept 13): 6 d. orange (shades), imperforate, single example used on 1856 cover, flap misssing, from Melbourne to Paris endorsed 'per Kent' at top, tied by circular "1" numeral of Melbourne and rated '8' décimes un arrival (Sept 5), and a horizontal pair, scissor cut at base, used on March 1857 entire letter to Paris endorsed 'Per European, via Marseilles' similarly cancelled and charged '5' décimes due on arrival, the latter signed A. Diena and G. Lamy. A scarce pair - neither listed by Palmer in 'Pre-UPU Victorian Mail'.
