    Lithographed by J. S. Campbell & Fergusson, Melbourne 1854/57: Half-Length 1 d. brick-red shade on poorer quality paper, Stone 2, Seventh printing, four single examples in a bright shade, margins touched to huge, all used on 1855 cover, side flaps missing, mailed to Sydney, NSW tied by oval '1/V' obliterators of Melbourne in black. Reverse with oval 'Melbourne / Victoria' despatch (Oct 16) and 'Ship Letter / Sydney' arrival cds (Oct 19) in black. The cover with imperfections but a generally fine and attractive franking.
