    Lithographed by Thomas Ham 1850 (Jan): Half-Length 2 d. grey-lilac, Second State, a used example with four good to large margins, slight rub at upper right, used on 1850 second page of entire letter (a shopping list) to Sydney, neatly cancelled by "23" Butterfly handstamp of Burn Bank in black. Reverse with oval 'PORT FAIRY / Crown / N.S.W' datestamp (April 30) in black, 'Melbourne / Crown / Port Phillip' transit (May 2) and 'Sydney / Crown / New South Wales' datestamp of arrival (May 10) in black. A rare and most attractive usage showing the acceptance of Victorian stamps in New South Wales.
