1850 (Jan 1): 3 d. yellow green, on yellowish wove paper, a fine example with very large margins all round, used on 1850 cover from Sydney to London endorsed 'p. Royal Swan' and 'via India', tied by mute obliterator in black. Manuscript '2/2d.' on front and 'Paid Ship Letter / Crown / Sydney' in red (Feb 7), London cds in red (July 9) on reverse.
