    1872c.: Cover without postal markings but with manuscript 'Stamped' at top, addressed to Lt. Colonel J. M. Grant of the 15th Regiment of Native Infantry, Port Blair, Andaman Islands. Carried as a concessionary Soldier's letter to Port Blair, the Andaman Islands were largely used as a Penal Colony during this period. Rare.
