    1863/70: Laureated 80 c. rose-carmine used on 1868 single rate entire letter from Le Havre to New York, tied by 1769 gros chiffres with Le Havre cds at left (Sept 28). Endorsed for and carried on the North German Lloyd Steamer 'Deutschland' with 'New York / Paid All' arrival in red (Oct 10) and '3' (cents) local charge. A fine entire.
