    1853; 40 c. orange and 80 c. pale rose-carmine, four margined examples, used on 1862 single rate entire letter from Le Havre to Lima, Peru, tied by 1495 petit chiffres with 'Bureau Maritime / Havre' cds in red (Oct 15) and framed P.P. in red alongside. Endorsed per Royal Mail Steam Packet Co 'Tasmanian' at top and reverse with London and Southampton cds's. Carried to St. Thomas where transhipped to the 'Solent' to Colon and thence via PSNC Steamer to destination. A fresh and very fine entire.
