    1870: Siège 40 c. orange and 1871/75 Cérès 80 c. pale carmine (2) used on 1874 double rate entire letter from Lyon to Yokohama, Japan tied by 6316 gros chiffres, with despatch cds (Aug 4) alongside. Two strikes of framed PD in red on front and reverse with French P.O. YOKOHAMA / JAPON datestamp (Sept 15) of receipt. A charming and scarce entire.
