    1862: 80 c. carmine used on 1865 single rate entire letter endorsed 'voie d'Angleterre' from Marseille to Jacmel, Haiti tied by 2240 gros chiffres with Marseille cds (June 15) and framed P.P. at left in black. Mailed via London (June 16) and thence on Royal Mail Steam Packet Co. 'Shannon' to St. Thomas and from there on the 'Tyne' to Jacmel (Aug 2). A fine and attractive entire to an unusual destination.
