    1852 Présidence: 10 c. bistre in a horiz. pair, fresh colour and fair to large margins all round, tied by '845' Petit Chiffre numeral marks to entire letter with "LE CHESNE 22 JUIL 54" cds alongside, sent to Vouzieres, reverse with arrival cds of the following day. A rare pair used to pay the single letter rate from bureau to bureau, decreased from 25 c. to 20 c. three weeks ago. Cert. Behr (1987) Maury = € 3'000.
