    1873/80: 1 s. green pl. 13, a marvellous block of 16 (4 x 4) used on large 1880 piece in conjunction with pair of 2½ d. blue pl. 19, all tied by 'Lynedoch Pl. B. O. / Edinb. / 396 duplexes in black (June 2). Some peripheral edge wear in the wing margins at left but a wonderful piece of great charm. According to the Karl Louis Card Index Register the 1 s. being the largest recorded used multiple from this plate known to date.
