    GPU / UPU 1880: Registered cover from Alexandria, Egypt to Cefalonia franked at 80 lepta rate (double rate of 60 lepta + registration of 20 lepta) by 1876/77 Athens 30 l. deep brown (2) and 1875/80 20 l. deep blue tied by 'Alexandria / 97' datestamps with straight line CHARGE handstamp above. Reverse with Kerkyra cds (Oct 11) and Argostolian arrival cds (Oct 12). A rare example of registered mail from this Office in exceptional condition.
