    Mail from Russia to Greece 1874: Entire letter from Rostov on Don to Syros, Greece franked by Russia 1866 1 k. black & yellow (2) and 10 k. brown & blue (2) tied by Rostov cds's of despatch (Sept 26), prepaid 22 kopeks for transit to Constantinople. Taxed on arrival, manuscript '45' (lepta) in blue crayon, in Syros with 1872/75 5 l. deep bright green on greenish and pair of 20 l. blue tied by dotted '67' numeral with 'Syros' cds on reverse (Oct 12) alongside four further Rostov despatch datestamps. Some vertical creasing but a rare and most attractive entire.
