    Mail from Russia to Greece 1865: Cover from Taganrog to Piraeus endorsed at top 'via Odessa', franked by Russia 1858 30 kopek carmine & green, perf. 12½ (Mi. 7) tied by 'Taganrog' cds (Dec 26) in black with circular FRANCO denoting pre-payment to Constantinople. Marked at '65' (lepta) to pay in manuscript, 45 lepta for a letter between 7½ and 10 grams plus 20 lepta internal postal charge, and franked by 1862/67 5 l. green on greenish, 20 l. blue and 40 l. mauve on blued tied by 'Piraeus' cds's (Jan 6, 1866) in black. Reverse with Odessa transit datestamp. Imperfections, incl. vertical file fold through two adhesives but a scarce cover. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 189.
