    Mail from Russia to Greece 1862: Entire letter from Odessa to Athens prepaid to Constantinople via RoPIT ship with italic 'Franco' handstamp in black with Odessa diamond datestamp in black at right. Taxed on arrival in Athens with manuscript '50' (lepta) for ship rate of 30 lepta and internal postage of 20 lepta by fine 1861/62 10 l. green on greenish and 40 l. mauve on blued tied by dotted '1' numeral with 'Athens' cds (April 13) on reverse. A delightful entire. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 189. Signed Holcombe.
