    Mail to Russia via Austria 1863: Entire letter from Patras to Taganrog, Russia at 140 lepta rate (including 20 lepta internal) franked by 1862/67 20 l. blue, 40 l. mauve on blued and 80 l. carmine all tied by dotted '9' numeral of Patras with despatch cds (Feb 14) at right. Manuscript '15/10/15' in red crayon on reverse (15 kr. ship rate, 15 kr. Austrian transit, 10 kr. to Russian border = 40 kr. = 120 lepta) together with Athens cds (Feb 16) and Vienna cds (March 7, gregorian). Annotated again in manuscript on obverse at top right with '30' (kopeks) due from recipient. File fold and adhesives touched but a scarce cover. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 191.
