    Mail from Greek Post Offices in the Levant via French Paquebot 1870: Cover from Galatz, Romania (cachet under adhesives), carried privately to Constantinople to Corfu sent unpaid with Greek P. O. 'Constantinople / (Turkiya)' despatch cds (Sept 1) in black, carried on the Paquebot 'Nil' and franked on arrival  with 1862/67 5 l. green on greenish and 40 l. rosy mauve on blued tied by 'Kerkyra' cds (Sept 7) with corresponding '45' in red manuscript at base of cover (Greek / French Convention of 1866 for a letter under 10 grams). A fresh and fine cover. Signed Calves, Lascarides.
