    Mail from Greek Offices in the Levant 1870: Entire letter from Constantinople to Athens by French ship, carried at 45 lepta rate (for under 10 grams) and franked with 1870/71 1 l. chestnut brown from cleaned plate, 2 l. dull brown horizontal pair and overlapped 40 l. dull mauve on blued all tied by dotted '95' numeral with 'Constantinople' despatch cds at right (Dec 31). Reverse with Athens arrival cds (Jan 2, 1871). A fine and rare entire. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 155. Signed Holcombe.
