    Mail from Greek Post Offices in the Levant via Austrian Lloyd 1863: Entire letter from Constantinople to Syros sent unpaid with Greek P. O. 'Constantinople / (Turkiya)' despatch cds (Feb 23) in black, franked on arrival with First Athens 1862 5 l. green on greenish and 1862/67 10 l. orange on bluish, 20 l. blue, 40 l. mauve on blue all tied by 'Syros' datestamps (Feb 25) and paying the 115 lepta rate (2½ times the single French ship rate = 75 lepta and double the Greek internal rate = 40 lepta). The entire with file folds and acid ink but a rare and appealing four colour franking. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 153. Cert. Tseriotis (2010).
