    Mail from Great Britain to Greece 1863: Entire letter sent unpaid from Manchester to Syros, Greece endorsed 'via Marseille', struck with Manchester despatch cds (Feb 4), with Calais transit (Feb 6) and thence to Syros, franked on arrival with 1861 Paris printing 80 l. carmine on rose in a fine horizontal pair overlapped by 1862/67 10 l. orange on greenish tied by 'Syros' datestamps (Feb 1, julian) with corresponding '170' (lepta) in red crayon below - rate of 150 lepta for a letter under 7½ grams from France + 20 lepta internal charge. Ironed file fold through one 80 lepta but a very scarce entire. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 138.
