    Mail from the Levant to Greece via French Paquebot 1865: Entire letter from the French P. O. in Galatz, Romania sent unpaid to Patras, Greece with dotted despatch datestamp of GALATZ / MOLDAVIE in blue (July 9), thence by the Paquebot 'Balkan' of the Danube Line to the French P. O. in Constantinople with cds on reverse (July 12) in black, thereafter on the Paquebot 'La Volga' to Piraeus. Manuscript '130' in red crayon (triple ship rate of 30 lepta = 90 lepta as above 20 grams plus 40 lepta doubled internal rate). Franked on arrival with 1862/67 10 l. orange, 40 l. mauve on blued and 80 l. carmine on rose all tied by 'Athens' cds's (July 4, julian). Some age spots and small imperfections to adhesives but a very rare entire.rnrn
