    Mail from the Levant to Greece via French Paquebot 1863: Entire letter from Constantinople to Athens carried on the French Paquebot AMÉRIQUE with datestamp (June 18) in black at top (Salles fig. 753) marked '50' (lepta) in red crayon (30 lepta ship fee + 20 lepta internal) and franked on arrival with 1862/67 10 l. orange in a resonant shade and 40 l. mauve on blued tied by Athens datestamps (June 8, julian). Reverse with Piraeus and Athens cds's. A fine and attractive entire. Ex collections Trefonas and Zacharides. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 112.
