    Mail carried on Austrian or Italian Paquebots via Brindisi & Suse 1873: Bilingually addressed cover endorsed 'via Brindisi' from Syros to France franked at 1866 Convention rate of 70 lepta for up to 10 grams with 1872/75 10 l. orange on cream, 20 l. deep blue and 40 l. mauve on blued all tied by 'Syros' cds's in black (Sept 9). Framed red PD and 'Grece / St. Michel Amb. B' entry mark in red (Sept 26, gregorian) on front and reverse with Kerkyra (Corfu) transit cds and Marseille arrival cds. Small faults but an attractive cover. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 104.
