    Part paid Mail from Egypt to Greece 1869: Entire letter from Port Said to Syros, franked by Egypt 1867 1 pi. red (Gi. 14) tied by POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / PORT SAID cds (March 7) with repeated strike at right, transferred to the Austrian P. O. in Alexandria with ALEXANDRIEN cds on reverse (March 8) in black (note also 'Austriaco' endorsement at top of entire). The Egyptian I piastre 'Port to Port' rate not valid to a non-Egyptian Office and taxed on arrival at 40 lepta (the cost of a single prepaid letter from Alexandria) with 1862/67 20 l. blue pair, large margins all round, cancelled by 'Syros' datestamp (March 9, julian) in black.
