    Mail from Egypt to Greece via Austrian Lloyd 1865: Entire letter from Cairo to Syros via Alexandria, struck on despatch with fine 'Poste Vice-Reali Egiziane / Cairo' cds of the Government Post (July 3, gregorian) in blue, thence mailed via Alexandria's Greek Post Office with circular datestamp in black (June 25) and Paid to Destination handstamp adjacent and 1862/67 20 l. deep blue, 40 l. mauve on blue and 80 l. carmine applied but not cancelled until arrival in Corfu where struck with '106' numeral handstamps of Kerkyra (June 29) and slitted for disinfection in Corfu against Egypt's Cholera epidemic (one slit runs into the 20 lepta adhesive); thence onward to Syra (July 2).
