    Mail carried on Austrian Lloyd 1867: Entire letter from Patras to Trieste, franked at 60 lepta rate (including 20 lepta internal) with 1862/67 Athens printing 20 l. blue and 40 l. dull mauve on blue tied by dotted '9' numeral of Patras, with despatch cds (Aug 6) alongside. Reverse with manuscript '10/3' in red crayon (3 kr. Trieste local fee + 10 kr. ship fee = 40 lepta ) and oval Triest arrival (Aug 22, gregorian). A fresh and fine entire - this rate was only in use for 18 months.
