    'Ile de France' 1928: '10 FR.' on Berthelot 90 c. red, a wonderful mint block of four from base of sheet with '7.' in margin, with 'spaced surcharge / espacées' variety on upper horizontal pair and lower pair normal. Extremely fresh and fine with full original gum and "New York Au Havre / D" datestamp lightly applied on reverse (23.8.28) in black. A delightful and extremely rare multiple for the specialist, cert. Brun (2017) Maury 3+3d = € 24'000/Yvert = € 25'000.
